Box 488 Vero Beach FL 32960 Re: Road Acceptance Dear Mr. Vocelle: November 30, 1977 Wayne L. Allen Vice President and Assistant General Counsel Several demands have been made by the City Engineer, Mr. Lloyd, that in order to have the City accept various streets we must provide the City with a set of reproducible mylars of the final drainage plan. Although such a requirement is not a part of our Road Acceptance Agreement with the City, we will provide the mylars to the City at cost. Upon request we will provide an estimate which will include the necessary drafting, surveying, etc. Additionally, he has requested a statement that positive drainage exists on all property and that we set or clarify the placement of permanent reference monuments. These items also are not part of the Road Acceptance Agreement between General Development Corporation and the City of Sebastian. I would appreciate your clarifying this with Mr. Lloyd and that we proceed with carrying out the agreement. I am also advised that Mr. Lloyd has made statements to the effect that if General Development refuses to agree with these demands then the road inspections would be done in such a manner that we would be faced with an extremely high number of alleged discrepancies. I am very concerned with such an approach because I do not think it is in keeping with the spirit of cooperation with which we entered into this agreement with the City. Please advise how the City intends to proceed in this matter. If you have any questions concerning this I would be happy to address them. Sincerely, WLA/hw cc: Mayor Cragg i C.C.
