SEBASTIAN, FLORIDA October 3, 1960
July 8, 1957 A motion was made by Mrs. Chesser that the city allow Villiam
Bosworth to extend Main Street westward through his property
according to the following specifications: Street shall be
301 width and shall contain a base of 6" marl or marl and
shell. Second by Ellingsen, carried.
April 18, 1958 Councilman Ellingsen made a motion that all expenses for
inspection of roads shall be based upon the following:
Expenses of inspection shall be paid by the sub -divider at
the time of tentative approval of the roads. Expenses
shall be based as follows: 4%P12.00 for every 1000 ft. or
less, to be measured along the center line. of the roadway
and X12.00 for each additional 1000 ft. or fraction thereof.
Second by Councilman Brehmer and carried.
Oct. 219 1958 Agreement was presented to the Council between Gen. Dev.
Corp. and the City of Seba tian, that bond date of Oct. 17,
1958 be supplemented in the following respect. That
Gener l Development Corp. has from one to two years to
✓ complete streets in the Seba tian Highlands and that bond
b(- r(,duced from 0125,000.00 to '075,000.00. This motion
wascmaded by Councilman Ellingsen. Second by Councilman
Brehmer to accept the said agreement.
Feb. 9, 1959 Councilman Baxter made a motion to have an amendment attached
to the Present SubDivision ordiance requiring developers
to maintain streets in a Subdivision for a period of one
year after the streets are accepted by the City. Motion was
seconded by Councilman Brehmer .
Feb. 4, 1959 Mr. 'William Bosworth requested the Council to release bonds
on the streets on Seba tian Gardens. Councilman Baxter made
a motion to accept the streets in the Sebastian Gardens and
to release the bond. Second by Councilman Benschop. Also
the Council instructed Attorney Vocelle to draw a resolution
on releasing of bonds on streets in Sebastian Gardens,
Feb. 12, 1959 Councilman Baxter made a motion to request the city attorney
to draw up resolution amending the Charter of the City of
Sebastian having developers maintain streets in S/D for a
period of one year.after they have been accepted by the
City, according to state law. Motion second by Mrs. Chesser.
April 2, 1959 Councilman Baxter made a motion that the City of Sbbastian
do not approve the resolution releasing Sebastian Gardens
from their performance bonds on the streets to the City,
until such tim approval is given by the City attorney and
City Engineer. I°iotion seconded by Councilman Benschop,
Jan.11, 1960 Councilman Baxter reported to the Councilthat street
repairs in Seba tian Garden Estates Subdivision cost the
city approximately 5;140.00. City Attorney was instructed
to contact rlr. E. A. Sirota in reference to these repairs
and also the condition of the drainage as it now exists.
