NOTICE OF MEETING OF CREDITORS, PROCEDURE TO FIDE CLAIMS AND BAR DATE TO THE DEBTORS, THEIR CREDITORS, SHAREHOLDERS AND OTHER PARTIES IN INTEREST: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, THAT: 1. Each of the Debtors named in paragraph 10 hereof filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code on the date indicated. 2. THE COURT HAS FIXED DECEMBER 10, 1990 AS THE DATE BY WHICH PROOFS OF CLAIM MUST BE FILED. DISPUTED CLAIMS NOT FILED BY THIS BAR DATE ARE GENERALLY NOT ALLOWED. A PROOF OF CLAIM IS ENCLOSED WITH THIS NOTICE. 3. A meeting of creditors (the "Creditors Meeting") shall be held on Thursday, August 16, 1990 at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts, 174 E. Flagler Street, Miami, Florida, U.S.A., at 2:00 p.m. The Debtors shall appear by their executive officers at that time and place for the purpose of being examined. At the Creditors Meeting creditors and shareholders may examine the Debtors and transact such other business as may properly come before such meet- ing. The United States Trustee or his designee will preside at the Creditors Meeting. 4. You are invited to attend the Creditors Meeting but you need not do so. Your rights will not be prejudiced if you do not attend this meeting. The Office of the United States Trustee has appointed certain Committees to represent the interests of General Unsecured Creditors, Bondholders, Letter of Credit Issuers, Equity Security Holders, Receivables Purchasers, Lot Purchasers, and Home Purchasers at the Creditors Meeting and during the course of these Chapter 11 proceedings. The Creditors Meeting may be continued or adjourned from time to time by notice at such meeting without further written notice to credi- tors, shareholders and other parties in interest. 5. As a result of the filing of the petitions, certain acts and proceedings against the Debtors and their property have been, and continue to be, stayed as provided in 11 U.S.C. S 362(a). 6. The Debtors have filed their Schedules of Assets and Liabilities. You may obtain copies of the Schedules at a cost of 10 cents per page by con- tacting Exchange Photo, at (305) 358-3787. 7. Proofs of claim should be mailed to and filed with GENERAL DEVELOP- MENT CORPORATION, ET AL., c/o U.S. Bankruptcy Court, P.O. Box 013391, Miami, Florida 33101, U.S.A. Claims filed with the Court will be forwarded to Poorman- Douglas Corporation, who has been authorized by the Court to docket claims and maintain an official claims register. DO NOT MAIL YOUR CLAIM DIRECTLY TO POOR - MAN -DOUGLAS. The Clerk of the Bankruptcy will also maintain a duplicate official claims register.
