NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of
the City of Sebastian, Florida, will hold a public hearing
at the Community Center, North Central Avenue, Sebastian,
Florida, on Tuesday the 25th day of May, 1982, at 7:00 p. m.
to consider the request of General Development Utilities,
Inc., to increase rates for sewer service for the Sebastian
Highlands Sewer Division.
The proposed schedule of rates for monthly sewer
service will affect all current customers of the system, and
is proposed to be:
Residential Service $10.00 flat rate per month
General Service $10.00 flat rate per month
Copy of the application and supporting documentation
for the proposed rate increase request is available for
inspection from 9:00 a. m to 4:30 p. m., at the office of
the City Clerk, City Hall, and also at the Office of Florida
Home Finders, Inc., U. S. #1, and Schumann Drive, Sebastian,
Florida,
All interested persons may appear at said public
hearing and be heard.
Should any person decide to appeal any decision made
by the City Council, said person will need a record of
the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, said person may
need to ensure that a verbatrum record" of the proceedings
is made.

General Development Utilities, Inc, and adopt a schedule of

Notice is herebygiven that the Cit Council of

the City of Sebastian, will hold a public hearing at The
Community Center, North Central Avenue, Sebastian, Florida,
on Tuesday, the 25th of May, 1982, at 7:00 p. m., to consider
the request of General Development Utilities, Inc. to adopt
a Service Availability and Main Extension Policy for the
Sebastian Highlands Water and Sewer Division. The Council
will consider all evidence relevant to this request of
General Development Utilities, Inc. and adopt said policy by
ordinance.
The proposed Service Availability and Main Extension
Policy will reflect the following changes in the initial
connection charges which are fully set forth in the application
on file in the office of the City Clerk, City of Sebastian.
Generally,the effect on a single family residential unit with a

5/8" x 3/4" water meter and eighty (80) feet fronting on the
water and sewer mains, for example is as follows:

Current General Development Utilities, Inc.
customers will NOT be directly affected by the proposed changes
to the Service Availability and Main Extension Policy. New
customers will be provided this information at time of request
for connection. These charges are non-recurring and will be
paid by each new customer at time of connection.
A copy of the application and supporting documentation for the
proposed Service Availability/Main Extension Policy will be
available at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, and at
the office of Florida Home Finders, Inc., U.S.#1 and Schumann
Drive, Sebastian, Florida 32958, located in the City of Sebastian.
All interested parties may appear and will be heard.

FOR SEWER SERVICE FROM $5.00 PER MONTH TO
$10.00 PER MONTH; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE; ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

is proposed to be:
