It seemed to go okay and the outcome was satisfactory. Growth Management was represented by Tracy Hass and Jan King. Engineering was also well represented. Terry Hill was present from Public Works. The purpose of this email is to state the policy we are using for these preconstruction meetings and to ask you if you want to change it to include anyone directly from the Building Department. That is: We currently view Growth Management as automatically representing the Building Department in these preconstruction meetings. It seems to work without compromising your own policies and saves time for your own departmental personnel. Let us know, however, if you want to receive invitations to these project preconstruction meetings in future. If not (as is the case now), we will continue to look to Growth Management to provide standard answers regarding Building Dept. issues in such meetings. We will continue to refer the project personnel directly to you if we think we cannot adequately address any questions that may pertain to Building Department policy / procedures. I have already discussed this with Jan King and she concurs with the above. Just let us know if you want to consider changing this approach in any way. Thanks. -- Dave Fisher David Fisher From: Wayne Eseltine Sent: Tuesday, December 14, 2004 4:37 PM To: David Fisher Subject: RE: Pre -Construction Meeting for Ashbury Subdivision I am satisfied with the current arrangement.
