I am taking the liberty of answering your memo to
the City Council, City of Sebastian, Florida dated
February 18, 1987.
Please be assured that your memo, the attached
letter "Notice of Public Hearing" to you and my
reply will be given to each Council Member.
Mr. Salotto the letters to all abutting property
owners (over 200) were prepared in advance of the
First Reading which was held on February 11, 1987,
at that meeting the City Council set the date of
February 25, 1987 for the Public Hearing. The
letters were taken to the Post Office, the day
after the First Reading, February 12,1987. It would
have served no meaningful purpose, legal or
otherwise, to mail these notices on any other date.
Let me take this opportunity to agree with you
relative to the quality of the copy you received.
The City Clerks office effective one week ago today
installed a new copy machine that produces above
average copies. I am sorry that we did not have
this copier in place before this time. You will
find enclosed another copy of the "Letter of Public
Notice".
