Box 6368 Vero Beach, Florida 32960 SUBJECT: Chesser's Gap - CR 512 Improvements Dear Bruce: Svncom Telephone: 224-1011 In reviewing the plans dated March 26, 1991 of the CR 512 Improvements at Chesser's Gap, please consider: 1) The design speed of CR 512 is 55 MPH, which requires a 24' clear zone. "The straight end section "shown on the S.W. and N.E. ends of the proposed 36" R.C.P. should be changed to a mitered end section. 2) A 4' wide paved shoulder should be added along the east edge of the right turn lane. 3) The County will overlay the existing lanes of CR 512 along the project frontage. Use traffic paint and not thermoplastic for pavement markings. ,i 4) What type curb and gutter is proposed? 5; Show solid sod in County right-of-way. 6) Show typical section along widening. JIM DAVIS : Re: Chesser's Gap May 15, 1991 PRESENT: RANDY & BRUCE FROM MOSBY ENG. 4ARREN DILL :ARL FISCHER =D AHO JIM DAVIS im Davis said he would need to have Randy submit a geographical ,wing to show how Fleming street extension was going to tie into #1 before he could recommend a credit for the cost to construct the Chesser's Gap portion of the road. When this is shown in a .isfactory way and agreed to by the City then the road,bike path, j that portion of the site drainage that would be required for road would be permitted. It was suggested that the above cost agreed to BEFORE a meeting with the Commission to see if they _: d consider monetary credit vis impact credit. This cost should established and agreed as soon as possible to expedite. ras agreed by Mr. Davis that monetary credit would be given for work on the right turning lanes, preparation of the traffic ial light and other related work that would not have to be �ved when the twin lane work was done in that area.
