Approval Process
Sequence of Events
25, 1987
City Council adopts Ordinance No. 0-87-09 zoning the
Chesser's Gap property Commercial Planned Unit Development
PUDIC).
City of Sebastian Land Development Codes § 20A.4.9E.3(i)
and § 20A-4.10 A. (page 247) requires the Preliminary
Development Plans to be submitted for approval within
eighteen (18) months from the date of the ordinance
rezoning the property to PUD(C). The time limit of 18
months for submission of the Preliminary Development Plan
may be extended by the City Council.
November 18, 1987
City Council adopt motion to extend the time for filing
the Chesser"s Gap Preliminary Development Plan from
August 25, 1988 to eighteen (18) months after City
Adoption of Revised Thoroughfare Plan.
January 25, 1989
City Council adopts Resolution No. R-88-77 - CR512 and
Thoroughfare Plan.
This Action establishes a new date of July 25, 1990 for
the submittal of the Preliminary Development Plan (18
months after January 25, 1989).
July 23, 1990
Preliminary Development Plan for' Chesser's Gap is
submitted to the City within the 18 month period as
extended by the City Council.
October 9, 1990
4:00 p.m.
Meeting date set by staff and chairman of the Planning
and Zoning Commission to review the Preliminary
Development Plan, as per the requirement of § 20A-4.10
D.3 (page 250).
