Tra!!ic/Transporlatlon EnDlnsoring Consultants CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS Based upon the preceding capacity analyses, the roadway system, in dhe vicinity of the site generally can accommodate the proposed t evelopment, without tignificant degredation-.of the level of service. Additionally, a commercial development in this location will reduce the length of shopping trips for the local area, thus having a positive effect upon the roadway network. ;,. Fellsmere Road between Fleming; Street-,and—US Highway 1 is F; approaching capacity. However, roadway improvements, currently in the design phase by Indian River County,. will alleviate congestion throughout the critical section of, the corridor. Although construction dates for the County improvements have yet to be determined, it should be noted that the ,facility will maintain acceptable levels of service throughout the study period. Sin=a the proposed site plan includes deceleration lanes eastbound and westbound and a northbound left turn lane at the intersection of Fleming -Street -and Fellsmere Road, in addition to the signalization ' of the intersection, no additional improvements are recommended.
