Additionally, a commercial development in this location will reduce the length o; shopping trips for the local area, thus having a positive effect Upon the roadway network. Fellsmere goad between Fleming Street and US Highway 1 is approaching capacity. .However, rcaoway improvements, currently in the design prase by Indian River County, will alleviate congestion throughout the critical section of the corridor. Although construction, dates for the County improver5ents have yet to be determined, it should be noted that the facility will maintain acceptable levels of service throughout the study period.
