Lee Dehner, Attorney SUBJECT CALL TO ORDER 10:00 a.m. There being a quorum present, Steve Marcinik, called the meeting to order. SUBJECT APPROVAL OF MINUTES 10:05 a.m. Steve Marcinik motioned the minutes of the September 16, 2014 Board Meeting, be reviewed and approved. Motioned seconded by Bob Zomok and passed unanimously without change. Sebastian Police Pension Board Draft minutes SUBJECT OLD BUSINESS Draft Proposed Ordinance Scheduling of City Council Meetings Ken Killgore stated the upcoming Sebastian City Council meetings are December 10, 2014, January 14, 2015, January 28, 2015, and February 11, 2015. The Board opted to have the First Reading of the proposed Ordinance at the January 28, 2015 meeting of Sebastian City Council. The Second Reading would then occur on February 11, 2015. The Board agreed to meet in Ken Killgore's office at 6:00 PM on January 28, 2015 for any last minute updates. Discussion/Questions As of now, the Presentation to City Council will proceed as follows: Lee Dehner will present a brief history of the formulation of this Ordinance and the changes that are included. Scott Owens will outline the investment flexibility needed in the marketplace and how the new Ordinance provides for that flexibility. Doug Lozen will present the financial impact of the Ordinance on an immediate as well as projected basis. SUBJECT 2 Sebastian Police Pension Board Draft minutes NEW BUSINESS Approval of Invoices Foster & Foster = $625.00 Christian & Dehner = $1,844.87 Christian & Dehner = $ 928.00 Bruce Hoffman moved to pay the above invoices. Bob Zomok seconded the motion and it passed unanimously Bob Zomok moved to add the Slate Trust invoice to the list for approval and to approve the invoice for payment. Bruce Hoffman seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Slater Trust = $1,250.00 ITEM: SUBJECT ACTION ITEMS RESPONSIBLE PERSON: Place Proposed Ordinance on the Ken Killgore Sebastian City Council Agenda for The First Reading on January 28, 2015 SUBJECT ADJOURNMENT 10:50 AM. Having no further business for discussion, Chairman Steve Marcinik adjourned the meeting. Next regularly scheduled meeting is December 16, 2014, at 10:00 a.m., Sebastian City Council Chambers. Meetings for 2015 are March 17, June 16, September 15, and December 15. All meetings are planned to start at 10 AM in Sebastian City Council Chambers. 3
