Mrs. Nichols suggested signs be installed stating "First come First served" and time limitations of one hour
for singles and one and one half hour for doubles apply. Mr. Snyder stated he felt signs should not be
installed for one complaint, If the City received 8 to 10 per week or it became a real problem then the City
should think about putting up signs however, he indicated that they still would be hard to enforce.
Discussion turned to obtaining land for a soccer complex. Mr. Snyder stated he thought the County bought
some land out west near the high school and if they have that recommendations for use as soccer fields
should be made now while the land is in the planning stages before its too late to change. Mrs. Diamond
stated the county had some land in the City which might be able to be used such as the old water treatment
plant locations on Filbert Street or Bailey Drive.
A motion to adjourn was made by Mrs. Raborn second by Mrs. McConnell - passed unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 7:45 PM.
