John was born on January 18,1932, in New Jersey to Joseph and Mary Barney, who preceded him in death. From an early age, he learned the value of hard work, dedication, and loyalty -qualities that guided him throughout his life. After graduating high school, John proudly entered the United States Army, serving his country with honor. Following his military service, he spent many years as a foundry worker in metal manufacturing, a demanding profession that reflected his strength, resilience, and strong work ethic. John was a devoted member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sebastian, Florida, where his faith provided comfort and ¢uidance. Outside of work and church, he found iov in motorcycle riding, especially his beloved Harlev-Davidson, and Send Flowers L'J Share Above all else, John was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Gail Frances Leach; his sons, John R. Barney Jr., Joseph Barney, and Christopher Minett.
