HomeMy WebLinkAbout10-14-14 County Impact Fee Public HearingPUBLIC NOTICE — INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS — NOTICE TO SEBASTIAN Please be advised that at a public hearing on October 14, 2014, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) will consider a proposed amendment to the County's impact fee ordinance to approve the new Impact fee schedule for residential uses and amend the non-residential use impact fee schedule to add a new non-residential use category for High -Cube Automated Warehouses. The proposed new non-residential use, which is identified on the fee schedule as "High -Cube Automated Warehouses," establishes a reduced fee for large scale, highly automated warehousing, a use that typically has a lower trip generation rate than conventional warehouses. For reference, please find attached the proposed Impact Fee Schedule. Staff is contacting you on this matter because the interlocal agreement between the county and each municipality regarding impact fees requires the county to provide a 30 day notice prior to amending the impact fee chapter of the county code. This email constitutes the required 30 day notification. Although each interlocal agreement states that notice be provided to the city/town clerk by personal delivery, certified mail, or overnight delivery, similar to past notices, staff is providing this notice to you by email in the interest of cost and efficiency. If you have any objections to receiving the required notice in this manner, or any questions regarding the proposed new Impact Fee Schedule, please contact me at 226-1250 or Phil Matson at 226-1455.
