Rose and Ann,
Thanks for attending our Earth Day Coordination meeting with Andrea Ring and City Staff. Per our meeting, we
discussed the following items:
Review the parking plan for the food vendors and PW is ok with the six location to the east of the restroom
Street Closures – Tentative to close Harrison for the Big Bike Tires and request volunteer officers for IRD MOT
City will provide Maintenance of Traffic (Barricades and Cones) – Blake
Event period is from 9 am to 4 pm on Sat 4/22
City will supply the two tents for NRB and City NPDES
Event coordination – Table and chairs, and tent
PW will provide assistance on the following:
o Transport stage and bleachers (Friday 4/21)
o PA system to be delivered Sat AM
o Hang the Earth Day banner on Monday 4/17
o MOT with cones and cart
o Provide the 5 tables and 8 chairs
o Check with PD on the volunteer officer for IRD
o Agenda transmittal to close Harrison Street

Not sure if you got this email regarding a meeting with City Staff to coordinate the Earth Day event. I believe it is
essential that you attend this meeting since you are the key NRB organizer . The meeting is Feb 24 from 1:30 to 2 pm in
the CD conference room. I will be attend this meeting.
