Re: efter Club, Phase I - Deterioration in the Roadway of Birch and Redwood Court
Dear Mr. Steve Melchiori
I recently received the minutes of the Management Advisory Committee meeting on November 12,
2003. A copy is attached.. Item number 6 is entitled "Deterioration of Redwood Court and Birch
Court" Under that caption it was indicated that "Information will be delivered to residents living on
the involved streets." I have received no such information.
There is a comment that On -Site intends to begin the repair after the fast of the year with the
installation of lateral drains. Please provide a complete explanation of the repairs as it was indicated
in the minutes you would. Also I am providing Masteller and Moeller, the engineers of record, who
will be responsible for certifying the adequacy of the repairs, with a copy of my letter and minutes
attached.

an "amber wave" color which is in accordance with colors being used in the
development and found no problem with the color change. They also reviewed a
request to construct awhite fence around aJacuzzi and a cattle fence along a retaining
wall in Phase II. No problem was found with the Jacuzzi inclosure, but the committee
did not feel the cattle fence would be in keeping the esthetics in Collier Club. Some
other fence would have to be considered along the retaining wall.
3. Maintenance: Requests have been made to the proper vendors For the light on the
code box at the entry gate. The light was supposed to be fixed and there still seems
to be a problem. The gate company has been notified and hopefully it will soon be
fixed satisfactorily. Vegetation at the entrance has been removed to help with
visibility of the Collier Club sign when traveling along Roseland Road.
4. Additional Parking at Clubhouse: It has been proposed to be done when the roads
for Phase IIB are being done. Work is being done about the fountain promised for the
lake in Phase I. No definite type of fountain or date of installation was mentioned.
5. Fall Fest Party: A balance of $168.84 is in the social fund after the expenses for the
party were covered and the money from the 50/50 drawing was added. Thanks to al'
of those who helped in making the party a success. You wil,be receiving ar
invitation to the Christmas party to be held on December 6". Try to remember to brim
an unwrapped toy for a child as we have done in the past to help the Ecumenica
Council provide help for the needy in our area.
6. Deterioration of Redwood Court and Birch Roads: A lengthy discussion was heli
with Steve Melchori about the roads. On Site has been working with A&N
Engineering and Testing Inc. They have made recommendations for repairing th
damaged roads in Phase 1. Sometime after the first of the year work will begin t
repair Birch and Redwood with the installation of lateral drains. They will the
evaluate the roads through a wet season to determine that the drai:is have solved th
problem and proceed from there. Information will be delivered to residents living o
the involved streets.
