Dear Mr. DeSanti,
After much discussion and inquiry on my part, I have listed what are the
major concerns of the Sebastian Highland residents. They are:
i. A recent 450 house development approved last week by Town Council
(Collier Development) consisting of 60 X 125' lots with a minimum 1400
sq. ft. house under air. This would be an acceptable minimum for your
development.
2. Before construction could begin the entire buffer be built and planted.
This would minimize noise, dust, etc. in the neighborhood.
3. All present exotic trees (Brazilian peppers, etc.) be removed so they
would not take over new plantings.
4. A reminder that internal landscaping will be sub -tropical and not sparse
plantings as is the case with Winn Dixie. Your development will be the
first visible for people coining into town from I-95 and will set the tone for
this community.
5. The added traffic from the project impacts Rt. 512. We feel that is a
county problem, something you will have to address with them.
Please let me know when you want to get together.
Sincerely,
Roger Carey
