Mary was rehired on 02/13 William Jursik - Police Officer January 2nd, 2001 to work at the Golf Course again, this 02/16 Ann Hansen yk- Council if Course time as a temporary Part-time Cashier. For those of us 02/18 Joseph Barczyk- Council Member 02/26 Irving Klinkowsteic - School Crossing Guard who remember, Mary worked at the Golf Course several 02/28 Robert Kyzer-Polie Officer years ago as a Cashier. Eugene Warren was hired on January 11, 2001 as a permanent Part-time Cashier for the City of Sebastian's Golf Course. Mr. Warren has spent the last few years as an Assistant to the PGA Pro at Beech Creek Golf Course in Sumter South Carolina. John Lubczynski was hired on January 29, 2001 as a Maintenance Worker 1 for the Public Works Department. Mr. Lubczynski was a Machine Operator for a Company in New Jersey for the last 8 years before returning to Florida where he had been previously a resident. Jeffrey Koch was also hired on January 29, 2001 as a Maintenance Worker 1 for the Public Works Department. Mr. Koch is a Desert Storm Veteran and had been a New Jersey Railroad employee for over 16 years before relocating to the Florida area. We wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see you soon. Mamerto Arino, Maintenance Worker 11 for the Public Works Department, Parks Division, had surgery in January and returned to work on January 31, 2001. Ed Wessendorf, Maintenance Worker 111 for the Public Works Department, Parks Division, has been out sick for some time, but returned to work a short time ago. John Dwyer, Maintenance Worker 111 for the Public Works Department, Roads and Drainage Division had been out on Worker's Compensation for two weeks and returned to work on January 30, 2001. CONDOLENCES Losing of a loved one is never easy. Our deepest sympathies to Ernest Gerber, Maintenance Worker 1I I - Public Works Department who lost his grandmother in January. Please pick up those forms also in Human Resources Dept CONGRATULATIONS Congratulations to the Finance Department in receiving "The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting". The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada awarded this to the City of Sebastian's Finance Department for preparing the award winning Comprehensive Annual Financial Reporting (CAFR). This Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and this attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. Chance, who has been with the City since October of 1987, decided to turn in his weapon and badge and pursue his long life dream of becoming self-employed, owning and operating a small business.
