THE SECOND 10 COMMANDMENTS
THOU SHALT,.,
1. Exercise Thy Body.
A famous physician once wrote,
"If exercise came in a pill
bottle, it would be the most
widely prescribed medicine of
all."
2. Exercise Thy Mind.
A sound mind in a sound
body...If you don't use it,
you'll lose it.
JANUARY, 1995
3. Exercise Thy Spirit.
Be sure there's balance in your
life - time alone; time with
one other person and time with
two or more people.
4. Exercise Thy Willpower.
Examine your habits - the ones
you want to develop, and the
ones you want to change. Then,
set goals and make those
changes.
5. Have a Happy Heart.
Laugh. Live. Create. Share
surprises. Help others find
joy and purpose in their lives.
6. Play.
Schedule time for pure play,
and find ways throughout your
day to have fun.
7. Eat, Drink and be
Merry - Sensibly.
Don't eat or drink or do
anything to excess. Don't
smoke cigarettes or use harmful
drugs or take moronic chances.
8. Give up Guilt, Regret,
and Depression.
Let go of the past, and move
on! Decide what's wrong (not
who's wrong), and take action.
9. Fear Not the Future.
The best thing about the future
is that is comes only one day
at a time. The future's not
totally in your control, but if
you take care of today, most of
the future will take care of
itself.
10. Live Now.
Learn from the past, plan for
the future, and live in the
present.

TAMING THE CREDIT CARD MONSTER
Did you know that the average
American is carrying a $2,500
balance on 2.5 bank cards.)
That same person is paying an
average interest rate of 18=.!!!
This amounts to throwing away
$450 every year on bank card
interest.
Better deal: don't use your
credit cards again until you
pay off your balances in full
(write checks or pay cash in
the meantime).
After that, charge only what
you can pay off in full every
month.
OOPS!
In 1965, the federal government
projected the cost of Medicare
would reach $9 billion in 1991.
Instead, it topped $100
billion!

MORE MURPHY'S LAWS
-Nothing is as inevitable as a
mistake whose time has come.
-If at first you don't succeed,
destroy all evidence that you
tried.
-There is no job so simple that
it cannot be done wrong.
-If anything is used to its
full potential, it will break.
-Asking dumb questions is
easier than correcting dumb
mistakes.
-If something is confidential,
it will be left in the copier
machine.
OUOTABLE QUOTE

to the next generation, it

himself."
