Call to Order
Mr. Dan Melia called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M.
Roll Call
Present at the meeting were Mr. Dan Melia, Mr. Harry Morris, Mr. Bill Roux,
Mr. Don Livingston, Mr. Clay Price, Mr. Don Vickers, and Mr. Ray Ladd.
Mr. Arthur Trowbridge, Mr. Carroll Simes, and Mr. Gordon Carlile were
absent. Ail three gentlemen arrived within 15 minutes after the meeting
started.
MisCellaneous Information
Mr. Ladd informed the Board that he would, with the Board's permission, like
to have a social on Saturday, June 12, 1982. This social was approved and
Mr. Trowbridge was placed in charge of the activities.~
Mr. Melia reported that the Food and Beverage Operation had be~n separated and
that Mr. Cledes had been placed in charge. That for the present time he would
be paid $250.00 per week for 48 hours and that he would also receive 3% of the
gross. Mr. Melia reported that Mr. Cledes would work with Mr. Ladd re
tournaments, etc.
Mr. Ladd reported that he had made contact with 2 radio stations and that we
would start advertising on one station immediately. If this media proves valid
it is possible that we will use both stations..
Mr. Melia reported that we needed someone to assume a public relations position
for the Club. Mr. Gordon Carlile accepted this position,
Mr. Bud Trowbridge reported that the drainfield and septic tank area ~3uld be
taken care of immediately. That the City Engineer was cognizant of all aspects
of the work. That no further problems should result from the drainfield.~.,~.-TlrLs
subject was discussed at length both pros and cons as to exactly why' the people
that installed the drainfield were not required to return. .It was reported
that the original company had not responded to official correspondence 'request-
ing that they do the work properly. The net result was that Mr. Trowbridge was
given permission to proceed as he had arranged.
Mr. Don Livingston reported that everything on the Golf Course was proceeding
O.K. That a new blade had been purchased to repair the golf car paths. That
the drainage problems in many areas was being taken care of.
A~pproval of Previous Meeting's Minutes
The minutes.., of the previous meeting were approved by-Mr. Bud Trowbridge and
seconded by Mr. Don Livingston. This was unanimously approved.
Mr. Clay Price reminded.Mr. Ladd that budgets were due on June 10, 1982.
a budget meeting would take place by the Committee on June 15, 1'982.
That
Mr. Dan Melia suggested that the meetings be held each month on the 2nd and
4th Thursday at City Hall - Time 4:00 P.M. This was put on the floor via a
motion by Mr. Harry Morris and seconded by Mr. Bud Trowbridge. The next
meeting to be Thursday, June 24, 1982.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:25 P.M.
