MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY CHAIRMAN DON LIVINGSTON AT 4:00 P.M.
PRESENT: DON LIVINGSTON, JOHN VAN ANTWERP, DAVID NISBET, LYNN WRIGHT, GEORGE
PEPPER (ARRIVED AT 4:38 P.M.) ALSO PRESENT: RAY LADD.
ABSENT: LLOYD RONDEAU (OUT OF TOWN).
MOTION BY MR. NISBET, SECONDED BY MR. WRIGHT, TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE
MEETING OF AUGUST 22. CARRIED.
MOTION BY MR. NISBET, SECONDED BY MR. WRIGHT, TO ACCEPT THE FINANCIAL STATEMENT
FOR THE PERIOD ENDING 3ULY 31. CARRIED.
THERE FOLLOWED A DiSCUSSIONOF THE 1985-86 BUDGET. MR. LADD POINTED OUT THERE
WERE TWO CHANGES THAT HAVE TO BE MADE. ON PAGE 7 - FOOD & BEVERAGES - A $500.
MISTAKE WAS MADE IN ADDITION. TOTAL OPERATING EXPENSES SHOULD BE $91,641~85.
INTEREST~ONTHE BOND PAYMENT HAS BEEN INCREASED TO $177,232.50, THUSDECREASING
PROFIT TO $39,409.36. MEMBERSHIP FEES AND CARTFEES HAVE BEEN INCREASED AND
SOME MEMBERS OF THE~BOARD WERE FEARFUL THAT THIS MIGHT KEEP PLAYERS AWAY.
MOTZON BY MR. NISBET, SECONDED BY MR. WRIGHT, TO ACCEPT THE BUDGET AS AMENDED.
WITH THE STIPULATION THAT IT BE PASSED ON TO THE CITY COUNCIL. CARRIED.
(MR. VAN ANTWERP VOTED "NAY".)
MR. LADD STATED THAT THE ADDITIONAL MONIES FROM THE BOND ISSUE, $191,000.,
IS PROPOSED TO BE SPENT AS FOLLOWS: CART PATHS - $100,000., NEW TRACTOR -
$14,000., 11 BLADE REEL - $13,000., 7 GAME FRAME - $2200., FAIRWAY AERATOR
$4000., LANDSCAPING AND TREES - $10,000., EXPANSION OF MAINTENANCE BUILDING -
$12,400., LANDSCAPING ENTRANCE TO GOLF COURSE - $7500., CART STORAGE FOR ADDITIONAL
10 CARTS - $5400.,~IMPROVEMENT TO CLUB HOUSE - $22,823.
