TRUSTEES OF THE SEBASTIAN POLICE OFFICERS'
RETIREMENT TRUST FUND HELD ON WEDNESDAY,
JANUARY 16, 1991
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Gore at 10:02 A.M.
Present were Gregory Gore, Earle Petty, Gene Ewert, David
Puscher and Carol Carswell .
Gene Ewert made a motion, seconded by David Puscher to accept
the minutes of the meeting of October 12, 1990 as presented.
Motion carried.
The Treasurer reported that ass of December 31, 1990 the Fund
had a balance of $82,023. Motion made by David Puscher,
seconded by Gene Ewert, to accept Treasurer's report. Motion
carried.
Under Old Business, the discussion of Custodian for the money
of the Fund was had. It was decided that the only way a
Chapter Plan can go is with a Bank. It was discussed that
an RFP should be prepared and sent to the four (4) local
commerical banks, i.e. Barnett, SunBank, Southeast and First
Union. Motion made by Gene Ewert, seconded by Dave Puscher
for an RFP to be prepared and brought back to the Board for
final approval prior to sending them out to Banks. Motion
carried.
The Secretary stated that the Annual Report to the State, due
February 1, was almost completed and would be filed on time.
The accounting firm of Dobson, Bjerning, Duffey and
Rosenfield had completed the necessary papers to be filed
with the iRS for the Plan to be a qualified. The papers are
filed by the City as the Plan's sponsor. They will be filed
next week .
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned
at 10:20A.M.
