GEORGE 'REPORTED THAT HE WILL TAKE A COPY OF THE PROPOSAL FOR THE YACHT CLUB LIGHTS TO COUNTY TO SEE 1F THEY WILL PAY THE DIFFERENCE. MUCH DISCUSSION ABOUT L~GHTS BETWEEN MI~qBERS. PETER AUTHORIZED GEORGE TO GET AHOLD OF AL ABOUT LIGHTS AND REPORT AT T~E ~EGULAR MEETING. GEORGE INDICATED THERE WAS A BETTER CHANCE OF GETTING FUNDS FROM THE COUNTY' FOR A COMBINATION FIELD THEN FOR A FIELD USED ONLY FOR SOFTBALL, DISCUSSION CONTINUES WITH DECISION THAT GEORGE W)LL ASK FOR $25,000 FROM COUNTY FOR FIELD~ GEORGE ALSO DISCUSSED PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AND FINAL DISCUSSION SET ASIDE TILL REGULAR MEETING. PETER 'REQUESTED WE MOVE ON TO NEW BUSINESS: CLIFF iNDICATED HE WANTED TO GO BACK TO THE VOLLEYBALL STAND UNDER OLD BUSINESS. THERE WAS NO OLD BUSINESS ON THE AGENDA AND ALL DISCUSSION WAS OUT OF ORDER. NO MOTION WAS MADE TO BRING THE DISCUSSION TO THE FLOOR, NEW BUS~',,N, ESS: ~ CLIFF REQUESTS A WOMENS CO~4ISSIONER FOR NEW LEAGUE STARTING ON THE 24th of this month. GENE INQUIRES WHY WE NEED ONE WHEN HE IS THE COORDINATOR, AND 1T IS HIS JOB. HE SAiD HE IS NOT GOING TO BE OUT THERE FOUR NIGHTS A WEEK FOR $50.00 A WEEK. CLIFF INDICATED THAT SHIRLEY POOLE WiLL NOT DO IT AGAIN AND HE COULD ONLY FIND SOMEONE WHO' WILL DO IT ON A PART-TIME BASIS FOR FILL-INS BECAUSE SHE PLAYS:VOLLEYBALL ON MONDAYS AND PRACTICES ON TUESDAYS. AND THURSDAYS. GENE STATED THAT THIS WOULD" BE PUTTING IN PEOPLE WHO DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY' WERE DOING AGAIN. (2) ~ GENE ASKED WHO WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TURNING THE LIGHTS ON AND OFF AND OPENING AND CLOSING THE BATHROOMS. HE SAID LAST TIME PEOPLE ON THE COqMI1-FEE WERE DOING THIS AND IT RESULTED IN A LOT OF PROBLEMS. CLIFF SAID. HE WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO DO IT BUT NOT FOR $50.00 PER WEEK. BETWEEN THE MENS LEAGUE WHICH IS NOW UP TO EIGHT TEAMS, I'LL HAVE TO LEAVE. THE HOUSE AT SIX BECAUSE THE FIRST GAME 1S AT six THIRTY', THE LAST ONE STARTS AT TEN WHICH MEANS WE WONT BE DONE UNTIL ELEVEN OR LATER. BY THE'TINE THE LIGHTS ARE OFF iTS GOING TO BE AT LEAST TWENTY' AFTER ELEVEN AND WE NOW HAVE SEVEN TEAMS IN THE WOMENS LEAGUE NHICE IS THREE MORE THAN WE HAD LAST TIME PLUS THE HOURS WORKS GETTING IT READY'FOR THE:NEWSPAPERS, iF I'M DOING IT I'M DOING IT FOR ABOUT TWO DOLLARS AN HOUR, AND !
