Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes City of Sebastian Recreation Advisory Committee March 25, 2002 Called to order by the Chairman: Roll Call: The following members were present William Ingui Robert Roguski Jeanne Jessup Jayne Barczyk, absent excused Julian'ne Barrett Elizabeth Gray, Alternate, absent excused Staff members present were Linda Kinchen, Recording Secretary, Chris McCarthy, Parks Superintendent, Mr. lngui goes over the minutes and asks for comments or concerns. A motion to approve the minutes was made by Mr. Roguski second by Ms. Jessup approved unanimously. Old Business: Ms. Jessup gave an update on her conversation with the Bryant Court resident. Mr. Ingui tells Chris that he would like to get together to compile a definite plan fbr cach zone. Mr. Roguski says needs more info on specific pieces of property because the inlbrmation he has is not up to date. Mr. Ingui asks Chris again to check on the demographic info that Terrcnce Moore stated the city had somewhere. There being no new business, the chairman went to public input. Sal Neglia wants districts on Nametags so people will know whom to call. Also wants to know why we would have to purchase more land if we have all the GDC property. Chris asks if Recreation Impact Fee Resolution was given to them. They stated no. stated that the City's quarterly newsletter was a good way to get information out to the public. Chris told the committee about Arbor Day ccremonies coming up at Blossom Park. Page two Parks and Rec meeting minutes March 25, 2002 A resident spoke to the committee about parks an.d Mr. Roguski had a heated discussion with her and was asked to please refrain from talking. Ms. Jessup thanked the public for coming. Next meeting was scheduled for 4/22/02 Meeting was adjourned at 6:30 PM Note: The date of the next meeting was changed by thc chairman to April 29, 2002 a fcw days after the meeting. Approved 4-29-09 unanimously
