FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
The Florida Department of Transportation District Four announces a public hearing to which all interested persons are invited to attend.
PURPOSE: This public hearing is being conducted pursuant to Sec-tion 339.135(4)(c), Florida Statutes, as amended. The hearing will begin at 6:30 pm with a presentation explain-ing the FDOT’s work program process followed by a presen-tation of the Draft Tentative Work Program of projects to occur between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2023 in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St Lucie, and Indian River counties. This public hearing also will include consideration of proposed projects for the Florida’s Turn-pike Enterprise System, as applicable. A public comment period will follow the presen-tations and the hearing will adjourn at the conclusion of the public comments.
All interested person are invit-ed to attend and be heard. This public hearing will be moderated at the District Four Headquarters with the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast Operation Centers partici-pating via video conference. NOTICE OF INTENT TO USE THE UNIFORM METHOD OFCOLLECTING NON-AD VALOREM ASSESSMENTS ANDNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Board of County Commis-sioners of St. Lucie County, Florida (the “Board”) hereby provides notice, pursuant to Section 197.3632, Florida Stat-utes, of its intent to use the uniform method of collecting non-ad valorem assessments to be levied within certain pro-posed or established special assessment districts (“SADs”) to fund the cost of providing capital improvements and/or essential services which may include but are not limited to roadway, sidewalk, potable water/fire protection, waste-water, drainage, street light-ing and beach renourishment improvements and services, commencing in November 2018. A list of the proposed or established SADs appears below. The Board will consid-er the adoption of resolutions stating its intent to use the uniform method of collecting such assessments as autho-rized by Section 197.3632, Flor-ida Statutes, at public hear-ings on, October 17, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commission Chambers, 2300 Virginia Ave-nue, Fort Pierce, Florida.
