Happy BirtHdaydorotHy Wing!
Mrs. Howard Wing, better known as Ms. Dot, was joined by 165 of her friends for a huge birthday bash in celebration of her 100th birthday Sept. 2, this year. The event was held in the com-munity clubhouse at Spanish Lakes 1, where she has resid-ed for years. Special guests attending the gala event included family members from as far away as Swe-den and Rhode Island, as well as numerous neighbors and various acquaintances from church and social groups. Ms. Dot credits her lon-gevity to keeping her-self active within the community. She can be seen most morn-ings at the water aer-obics class in the pool or enjoying a cup of coffee with the morn-ing coffee klatch in the clubhouse. She also enjoys play-ing card games and attending dances and stage performanc-es. She also sits in at billiards every Friday night where she sips a margarita now and then. She has led an awesome life and remains active within our community which is why she is beloved by so many.
