Harbor City Blvd, Suite 107 Melbourne. FL 32901 RE: Contract #95J266, Riverview Park Shoreline Restoration Project Final Progress Report Dear Mr. Smithson: We are pleased to submit this final report on the subject contract. The project was completed on November 21, 1997 with the installation of the Fishing Observation Pier, which was funded by the City as part of the City's Match to the SJWMD Cost Share Agreement. The pier is a 60 foot long pier with a 24 foot X 12 foot observation area. It was constructed according to the permitted plans by our contractor, Dockside Builders, for $13,300. The Fishing/Observation Pier was the final portion to be completed under the Riverview Park Shoreline Restoration Project. Earlier phases of the project were completed in 1996. These phases included: clearing the shoreline, installing a coquina rock breakwater over filter fabric, and shoreline plantings. The total project was completed at a cost of $52,358.20. Please review the attached breakdown of costs by contract item. The District's portion of the cost share agreement that was actually expended totals $ 23,633.74. Please accept this letter as the request for reimbursement of the District's share of the agreement. Martin Smithson, SJWMD November 26, 1997 The City is grateful to the District for supporting this project and we look forward to working with your office on the Main Street Basin and Baffle Box project.
