Fischer called the meeting to order at $:07 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. ROLL CALL: PRESENT: VC Mr. Munsan Ms. Kilkelly(a) Ms. Vesia Mr, Thomas Chnm. Fischer Mr. Schulke (arrived 5:22 pm) EXCUSED ABSENCE: Mr. Pliska Mr. Driver (a) ALSO PRESENT: Robert bia~sarelli, Community Development Director Tracy Hass, Planner II Nt~W, BUSINESS: A. Laud .Development Code Revisions - Continuation of Dratt Review - Amended Articles, Chapters 7,8,9, and' 10. Mr. Massarelh referred to his memo included in the packets. He noted that he would like to have this review finished by April. Tbere was-discassion on habitable space within a residence, the relationship bet~oen wells and County water, and septic tanks and County sewers. There was discussion of accessory strucivres including garages. The topic, of ac~ssory.structures m residential and commercial was also covered, Ms. Kilkelly suggested that a. beiter'definition of "accessory structures" should be obtained. Discussion took place on architectural standards, and clarity of the wording. Oversized garages were discussed. It was su~ that greases which conform to .the code should be an administrative' decision, and those that don't should come before Planuin8 and Zoning for review. There was also some discussion of a fire wall in a residence integrated garage. There was general consensus that a railing should be provided on Commercial doe, ks if it is over 300 feet, and disca~ona~ on private, residential docks. There was further discussion on placamm~t of the railing. The next topic of discussion was %vails and fimces'!, and how a retaining wall is clarified. Berms were also discussed. Mr. Schulke suggested that,under types of fences and walls pmmitted, such wording as - 'Tences shall be constructed and composed of at least one of ~ following groups of materials (and list those) and shall be one of tim following types of standard fence.styl~s'(and get a standard list), or can be of an alternative fenco style if approved by P 8: Z, and is comi,st~t with the theme or style of the building". Chairman Fischer adjourned the meeting at 6:34 pm.
