SUBJECT: JPA TIME EXTENSION, INSTALL RUNWAY LIGHTING &
FENCING UPDATE
This letter is to supplement the FDOT Memorandum dated October 8, 2002 regarding a
time extension for project number 408783-1-94-O1 entitled Install Runway Lighting &
Fencin .
Installation and completion of the runway lighting was delayed by the budgetary
constraints, requiring the City to bid this project again. On May 8, 2002 the Sebastian
City Council awarded the contract to JACO Electric, Inc. It was estimated that this
project would be completed by the end of the year, however to date, there are still a few
remaining items that need to be completed by JACO.
The City of Sebastian therefore formally requests that JPA entitled Install Runway
Lighting & Fencing be extended to March 31, 2003. Please do not hesitate to call, should
you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter.
