REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 4TH, 1993
CHAIRMAN KRULIKOWSKI OPENED THE MEETING AT 7:00 P.M.
PRESENT; MR. THOMPSON, MR. FISCHER, MR. KRULIKOWSKI, MR.
SHROYER, MR. GOLDSTEIN, MRS. DAMP, MRS. KILKELLY
ABSENT; MR. FULLERTON EXCUSED AND MR. FIRTION, EXCUSED
ALSO PRESENT; LINDA KINCHEN, SECRETARY,
ANNOUNCEMENTS; A MOTION TO CHANGE ORDER OF BUSINESS TO PUT
OLD BUSINESS AFTER NEW BUSINESS BY MR. THOMPSON SECOND MRS.
KILKELLY PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: JANUARY 7TH, 1993 PAGE TWO ADD MR.
SKILLMAN WITHDREW THE REQUEST A MOTION TO APPROVE AS AMENDED
BY MR. THOMPSON SECOND MR. GOLDSTEIN PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
HOME OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE - J. C. LANDSCAPING JOHN CACCAVONE
139 FILBERT STREET - 2 LETTERS RECEIVED IN FAVOR OF THE
PERMIT - WILL MOVE TRAILER WHEN STARTS TO USE FOR THE
BUSINESS AT THIS TIME ONLY WILL ONLY BE USING THE TRUCK.
PUBLIC HEARING OPENED AT 7:15 P.M. CLOSED AT 7:15 P.M. NO
COMMENTS A MOTION TO APPROVE THE HOME OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE
PROVIDED THE TRAILER IS MOVED ONCE IT IS BEING USED FOR THE
BUSINESS WAS MADE BY MRS. KILKELLY SECOND MR, FISCHER PASSED
UNANIMOUSLY.
SIGN ORDINANCE DISCUSSION - MR. THOMPSON MADE A MOTION THAT
ON PAGE 31 ITEM ~v - BE DELETED ALL TOGETHER AND THAT ITEM
BE REVISED TO STATE A SQ FT FOR EVERY LF OF FRONTAGE NOT TO
EXCEED 300 SQ FT OR APPROVAL MUST COME BACK TO P & Z. SECOND
MRS. DAMP PASSED 5-2 WITH MRS. KILKELLY AND MR. GOLDSTEIN
VOTING NO.
MRS. KILKELLY FEELS FLAGS IN FRONT OF MODELS SUCH AS THE
AMERICAN FLAG SHOULD BE STOPPED. THEY ARE ONLY DOING TO GET
ATTENTION NOT TO BE PATRIOTIC. BRUCE COOPER ARRIVES AT THE
MEETING AT 8:00 P.M. AND STATES CANNOT REGULATE WHO CAN FLY
AMERICAN SIGNS - DISCUSSION STATES MIGHT WANT TO CONSIDER
MODEL FLAGS BEING ALLOWED AGAIN TO SEE IF THAT WOULD
ELIMINATE THE FLYING OF THE AMERICAN FLAGS BRUCE STATES A
QUESTIONNAIRE COULD BE SENT TO THE MODEL HOMES AND GET THEIR
FEELINGS ON THE MATTER.

MR. THOMPSON MAKES A MOTION THAT V SIGNS BE CONSIDERED AS
SINGLE FACED IF ANGLE iS NOT GREATER THAT 45 DEGREES OVER 45
DEGREES THE SIGN IS CONSIDERED TWO FACED SECOND BY MR,
FISCHER PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
AT THIS POINT THE SIGN ORDINANCE DISCUSSION IS RECOMMENDED TO
BE CARRIED OVER TO THE NEXT MEETING WHEN MR. COOPER FEELS
BETTER
CHAIRMANS HATTERS: NONE
MEMBERS MATTERS: ME. THOMPSON ANNOUNCES THAT THE CiTY COUNCIL
STATED OATHS CAN BE ADMINISTERED BY THE SECRETARY WITHOUT
PASSAGE OF A RESOLUTION.
