The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M. by the Chairman~ Mr. Greg Golien.
The minutes were read by Chalres Falzone, Acting Secretary, and approved.
New Business
Permission for a pet grc~ng business was sought by Mrs. Diane Thorngren to be run
by Lorraine Thcmpson at #6 Sebastian Plaza on SRS12. There was some discussion re
the noise element and so it was sugested that the F~st wall between the next office
be insulated. They are to bring a bill to us as proof of ownership..
In conne,ction with the discussion and regarding occupational licenses~ it was
suggested by Mayor Flood that someone should go before the City Council re the handling
of these licenses. Bill Eessersmith was appointed by Mr. Golien to attend the meeting
on the l~th. He will report back to us at the next meeting of this Beard.
Old Business
Mr. Dan Preuss presented completed plans for the Happy Pelican on Indian River Drive.
There was much discussion but the plans were approved on the West side with the
stipulation that if water and sewer can be approved on the East side~ he can ge ahead
with plans for the Gazebo. The Health Department and the Restaurant Ccemutssion must
approve with the e~sting City Ordinances. Charles Falzone made the motion and
Bill Nessersmith seconded. It passed.
Mr. Jim Bland was introduced and considered for this Board. He will be further
considered when all four persons are reviewed.
Mr. Golien was authorizedto ask the City ~lerk to write a letter to the owner of
the building of the used car lot being operated without proper authorization by
_.A~t's Auto Repair on U.S.i. ~
Goerge Orthmade the motion to adjourn and Bill Messersmith seconded it. We adjourned
at 8:50 P.M.
