The meeting was called to order at 7 PM by the Chairman.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
No old business was presented to the board.
The first order of new business was the resignation of
Berrie Bock as secretary of the Board. Mr. Charles Falzone
was nominated and elected as the new secretary of the
Planning and Zoning Board.
The next order of business was a report from Bill
Messersmith with reference to Occupational Licenses given
out by Clerks in the City Hall, It was presented to the
City Council by Mr. Messersmith at the Council Meeting.
It was determined that the Clerk of the City of Sebastian
would be authorized to issue such licenses provided that
the occupation previously authorized in the building.or
on the same site, remains the same.
As a result of a discussion, the secretary was requested
to contact 'Mr. Dave Marsh, Indian River County, Planning
and Zoning Board, regarding how much land each of the five
areas, namely ~ero Beach, Sebastian, Fellsmere, Orchid and
Indian River Shores is designated as Commercial & Industrial.
A request for such a report would be made to Mr. Marsh for
such a report to the Board at his designated time,
Mr. Golien indicated that he would notify the rema~ning
individuals who had requested to 'become members of the
Board to appear at the next meeting.
There being no further business,
adjourn and it was seconded.

NOTICE OF MEETING
The Zoning and Planning Commission will hold a meeting in
City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 24, 1980.
All interested parties are invited to attend.
