THOMPSON EXPLAINS THAT HE WILL BE GONE FOUR MONTHS TRAVELING WITH WIFE AND THEN WILL LEAVE AGAIN IN FEBRUARY FOR ANOTHER EXTENDED VACATION. MOTION TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL THAT MR. THOMPSONS LETTER ASKING NOT TO BE REAPPOINTED BE ACCEPTED WITH DEEP REGRET AND THAT MR. THOMPSON BE ASKED TO RETURN IF THERE IS AN OPENING LATER ON TO BE RECONSIDERED, BY MR. FULLERTON SECONDED BY MR. WADSWORTH PASSED UNANIMOUSLY. MR. FULLERTON MADE A MOTION TO RECOMMEND MARGE POOLE AS PERMANENT MEMBER TO FILL MR. TH0MPSON8 EXPIRING TERM SECONDED BY MR. WAQSWORTH. PASSED UNANIMOUSLY. MR. THOMPSON MADE A RECOMMBNDATION THAT CARMEN LEONE BE CONSIDERED AS THE ALTERNATE FROM HIS PAST APPLICATION. MAJOR THOROUGHFARE PLAN; COUNCILMAN ROTH IS PRESENT AT 7|50 P.M. AND SPEAKS ON THE PLAN INDICATES DURING HIS DI8CU8SION THAT THE_- COMMISSION SHOULD AT LEAST ACT ON THE RED Lfl\IED ITEMS. MR.
