The Pledge of Allegiance was said. ROLL CAL,.L;, PRESENT: VC Vesia Mr. Mahoney Ms. Carbano Mr. Barrett Chmn. Mather Mr, Svatik, Jr.(a) EXCUSED ABSENCE: Mr. Rauth, Mr. Smith and Mr, Verge(a) ALSO PRESENT: Jan King, Manager, Growth Management Ann Brack, Recording Secretary A.N...N oU N C EME NTS..'. Chmn. Mather announced that Mr. Rauth, Mr. Smith and Mr. Verge are excused and Mr, Svatik(a) will be voting in their place. He welcomed Mr. Svatik as a new member. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: MOTION by Barrett/Vesia I'll recommend we approve the minutes of June 218t 2001 Voice vote - 6 - 0, motion carried, ~LD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINES,~; A. Quasi-Judicial Public Hearing - Conditional Use Permits - Model Home Permit Renewals: 1. GHO Homes, Inc. - 1442 & 1444 Tradewinds Way No ex parte communications were reported. Jan King gave staff presentation which recommended approval for a one year period, There were fifteen (15) notices of hearing sent and no objection or non-objection letters were received. MOTION by Vesia/Barrett I make a motion that we approve the conditional use permit for GHO Sebastian at 1442 Tradewinds and 1444 Tradewlnds Way. Roll call: VC Vesia - yes Mr, Barrett - yes Mr. Mahoney - yes Ms. Carbano - yes Mr. Svatik(a) - yes Chmn. Mather - yes The vote was 6 - 0. Motion carried. 2. Passage Island Homes - 783 Collier Club Drive There were no ex parte communications reported. , Jan King gave staff presentation which recommended approval, There were six (6) notices of hearing sent out and no objection or non-objections letters were received, Ms. Carbano questioned a printed and notarized matter on page 3 of the permit application and Jan responded. Chmn. Mather opened and closed the public hearing at 7:07 pm as there was no public input. MOTION by Carbano/Vesia I make a motion that we approve the conditional use permit for a model home for Passage Island Homes at 783 Collier Club Drive. Roll call: VC Vesia - yes Mr, Barrett - yes Mr. Mahoney - yes Mr. Svatik(a) - yes Ms. Carbano - yes Chmn. Mather - yes The vote was 6 - 0. Motion carried. B. Accessory Structure Review - Section 54-2-7.5 - 756 Holden Avenue - Ameron Homes - 28' X 20' Detached Garage William Bmgnano of Ameron Homes was present. Jan King gave staff presentation which recommended approval. PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF JULY 5, 2001 Mr. Barrett inquired about the driveway to the accessory structure. After discussion, Jan noted that if a separate driveway is utilized, an additional permit must be obtained. She advised the Board members to make that a condition of approval. Ms. Carbano pointed out that there, is no indication of electrical power going to this building and noted the garage door. Mr. Barrett commented that if electricity is Installed in this structure, proper permitting should be obtained. MOTION by Barrett/Vesia I'll make a motion that we approve the detached garage 28 by 20 at 756 Holden Avenue with the caveat that if there is a separate driveway to connect to the street that a driveway permit will be issued, secured by Ameron Homes. Roll call: VC Vesia - yes Mr. Barrett - yes Mr, Svatik(a) - yes Mr, Mahoney - yes Ms. Carbano - yes Chmn. Mather - yes The vote was 6 - 0, Motion carried.
