MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY BILL MAHONEY IN THE ABSENCE OF
THE CHAIRMAN AND VICE CHAIRMAN
PRESENT; MRS. TAYLOR, MR. MAHONEY , MRS K I LKELLY , MR.
FULLERTON, MR. GILCHER

NEW BUSINESS; REVIEW AND DISCUSSION OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
UPDATE BY LES SOLIN
LES PRESENTS HIS OWN AGENDA AND PROCEEDS TO GIVE A BRIEF
EXPLANATION OF THE WORK HE IS DOING AND THE TIME FRAME FOR
COMPLETION.
AFTER SOME BRIEF QUESTIONS FROM THE BOARD REGARDING THE
FINISHED PROJECT AND THE TIME FRAME FOR REVIEW LES STATED
THAT HE WOULD PREFER NOT HAVING ANOTHER JOINT MEETING UNTIL
THE PLAN WAS COMPLETE. THE BOARD FELT THIS WAS AGREEABLE
WITH THEM AND STATED THEY APPRECIATED HIS COMING AND THAT
THEY HAD A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WHAT
NEEDED TO BE DONE.
LES STATED THERE WOULD HAVE TO BE ONE PUBLIC HEARING BY
PLANNING AND ZONING BEFORE SEPTEMBER OF 1989 AND ONE BEFORE
THE COUNCIL IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE SUBMITTED TO STATE.
