THIS MODIF I CATION WAS FOR A CHANGE IN "rHE PARKING
CONFIGURATION AND WAS EXF'LA]~NED BY BRUCE AS TO WHY IT WAS
REQUIRED AND THAT IT SHOULD BE APPROVED TO COMPLETE THE SITE
PLAN FINAL.
AFTER SOME DISCUSSION BY THE BOARD ON THIS USE IN COR~ MRS.
KILKELLY MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE PARKING CHANGES FOR THE
TRIPLEX AT 909 S. INDIAN RIVER DRIVE AS PRESENTED, SECONDED
BY MR. MAHONEY PASSED UNANIMOUSLY. ROLL CALL.

REQUIREMENTS AND STATES IT WAS OUR ERROR TO DENY BASED ON'
THAT ITEM BECAUSE NO VEHICLE WEIGHT IS LESS THAN 1 TON.
BASED ON BRUCE'S COMMENTS MR. WADSWORTH MADE A MOTION TO
APPROVE THE HOME OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE FOR MR. VELEK AT 741 S.
W. BARBER STREET SECOND BY MRS. F'OOLE PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

RICHARD VOTOPKA REPRESENTS PROJECT
MR. VOTOPKA TALKS ABOUT A LETTER WRITTEN TO THE MAYOR DATED
AUGUST 1987 - NO ONE HAS COPIES. HE INDICATES; THAT LETTER
REQUESTS A FEE WAIVER AND A SURVEY WAIVER FOR VARIOUS
REASONS.
THERE IS MUCH DISCUSSION REGARDING THE SURVEY WAIVER AND
ALTHOUGH RANDY STATES HE COULD RECOMMEND IT AFTER MORE
DISCUSSION HE DID STATE THAT PERHAPS A LEGAL ISSUE COULD
RESULT FOR THE CITY IF IT WAS WAIVED AND PERHAPS A LEGAL
OPINION WAS WARRANTED.
AFTER CONSIDERABLE DISCUSSION ON THIS MATTER AND THE COST OE
A SURVEY THE FOLLOWING MOTION WAS MADE. MOTION BY MR.
WADSWORTH THAT WE RECOMMEND TO CITY COUNCIL THE APPROVAL OF
THE FEE WAIVER BUT ALSO THAT A SURVEY 8E REQUIRED, SECONDED
8Y MR. MAHONEY FOR DISCUSSION.
UNDER ROLL CALL TAYLOR AND POOLE VOTED NO
MAHONEY, KILKELLEY, WADSWORTH AND KRULIKOWSKI VOTED YES
MOTION F'ASSES AND A SURVEY WILL BE REqUiRED.
FOLLOWING THIS MR. WADSWORTH MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE
SiTE PLAN SUBJECT TO THE SURVEY BEING PROVIDED WiTH NO
DEVIATIONS FROM THE PLAN SECONDED 8Y MR~ MAHONEY PASSED
UNANIMOUSLY.
ARNOLD MORRISON - DRY CLEANERS
BRUCE BROUGHT UP THE MOST RECENT PROBLEM WHICH MR. MORRISON
HAS ENCOUNTERED THAT BEING THE FACT THAT HE NEEDS TO ~ILE FOR
A ZONING CHANGE iN ORDER TO PUT THE CLEANERS IN THE PROPOSED
LOCATION.
AFTER SOME DISCUSSION REGARDING WHETHER 'THE SITE PLAN CAN 8E
APPROVED SUBJECT TO 'THE ZONING CHANGE OR WHETHER IT SHOULD 8E
HELD PENDING THE ZONING CHANGE THE APPLICANT DECIDED TO
WITHDRAW HIS !SITE PLAN UNTIL THE ZONING CHANGE HAS BEEN
PROCESSED.

WAS DETERMINED THAT A ZONING CHANGE WOULD BE REc~UIRED IN
ORDER FOR HIS CLIENT TO PROCEED WITH HIS PROJECT.
RANDY STATES HE IS HERE TONIGHT TO GET THE BOARDS FEELINGS ON
WHETHER THEY WOULD PREFER HE APPLY ,FOR JUST THE. STRIP FACING
MAIN STREET OR WHETHER THE WHOLE TRIANGULAR PIECE SHOULD
CHANGED. HE INDICATED IT WAS RECOMMENDED BY THE MAYOR THIA~T,
THE WHOLE PIECE SHOULD BE CHANGED, AFTER MUCH DISCUSSION IT
