The reference number in 2.a.(1) needs to be corrected to ... 2.f.
Actg. Chron. Mather mentioned that the footnotes are needed.
The charts in this Article were not discussed.
Mr. Hass suggested starting on page 33, RESIDENTIAL PUD.
In the last sentence of first paragraph, Article XVIII should be changed to.X.
Typos on page V-33.
Page V-34 - Insert "...minimum living area shall be 900 sq. ft." in F.7.
Page V-35 - The references to Sections are to be checked.
ARTICLE XXlI: LANGUAGE AND DEFINITIONS(This Article number may change.)
Add "Unity of Title" and cross-reference to paragraph - ADJOINING LOT OR LAND.
Page XXI - 3 - Add the word "power" to self-propelled vehicle .... In the 5th paragraph.

BUILDING HEIGHT - Change the "...crown at the mid-point of the lowest
adjacent street.,." to read" (height) from the four (4) ¢=ornere of
construction grade..." Note change in Riverfront Ordinance.
Change COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR to current title of Planning
and Growth Management Director.

CROWN - It was suggested to add "/TREE CANOPY" to the title.
Stdke the item "DEPARTMENT".

FLAG LOT - There was much discussion on this issue. Insert "...or private..."
after the words "...public or..." (in two places) and add - narrow, private
"entryway less than (insert criteria)." There was discussion on this issue, and
it was suggested that a minimum width be inserted.
FLOODPLAIN - Change "... likely to flood..." to "...subject to flooding..."
FLOODPLAIN, TIDAL - Change "...area likely to flood.**" to "...subject to
flooding or becoming.,."
FOSTER CARE FACILITY - Strike the last sentence - ("The capacity... ~)

There was discussion about Mobile Homes being the same as Manufactured Housing.
Mr. Hass referred to page XXi-13 and the definition for Manufactured Building.
Item B.2. - Correct the spelling of "Cemetery".
The topic of "Hospitals and Extensive Care Facilities" was discussed.

goods or services at retail."

There was discussion about the different types of storage - mini storage, outside
storage, indoor storage.
Page XXI - 11
Item D. -Add item #8. "Outside Storage".
Add "STORAGE" to Page XXI-21 in definitions. The different types of storage
need to be defined for indoor, outdoor, and warehouse storage uses.
· Page V - 14 - Add "mini-storage/serf storage" to Commercial General.
Page V - 15 - Add "Storage and Mini storage, except outside storage" under
Conditional Uses.
Page XXI - 12 - Revise the definition of "LAWN GRASS".
Page XXI - 13 - Item 2. Under LOT DIMENSIONS - City Attorney is working on this
issue.
Page XXI - 14 - In OPEN STACE, the information needs to be COnsistent with the
changes in Article IV, about the lake. Needs to be reworded.
Page XXI - 15 - Under PATIO, insert the word "not" before the word fully.
Under PLANNED DEVELOPMENT OR REDEVELOPMENT, insert the
word "UNIT" after "planned", and strike the word
"REDEVELOPMENT",
Under "PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE", stdke "or any other structure" in the third line, and
stdke the last sentence in the first paragraph, and the second paragraph.
Page XXi - 16 - Under "PROJECT SITE", strike the word "excavated", and replace
with the word "developed", and add (SEE ALSO "DEVELOPMENT")
Under "RENOVATION", add the word "interior" after the word "exterior".
Page XXI - 4 - Insert "...supported by columns or walls.,." after the word "roof" in the
definition of a BUILDING.
Page XXI - 18 - The topic "SIGNS" will be revisited at a later date.
Page XXI - 21 - Add "STORAGE", "SPECIAL USE" and "SPECIAL EXCEPTION" to
this page of definitions.
Page XXI - 22 - Add the word "decorative" before the word "ponds",
" - Strike the words "and poster panels" under STRUCTURE.

It was determined to 'rework the term "SUBSTANTIAL RENOVATION"
and bring it back at a later date.
- Add the term "UNITY OF TITLE".
- Review the explanation of a "vista" and remove the second sentence.
Add 'INAIVER" to definitions.
At bottom of page, correct FDER to FDEP, and SFWMD to SJWMD.
Page V - 20 - Correct referenced Section number for "Industrial Activities as
Defined in,.."
Page V - 22 - Check the term "SEMI-PUBLIC..."
. Under Height Regulations and Exceptions Hereto - insert the
following: "... shall mean the vertical distance from the 'required base
flood elevation, or the construction grade, whichever is
greater...'"
Page V - 27 - Check that "Yard" definitions are correct in all sections of the LDC
including the Glossary.
Article VI will be discussed at the next meeting on Oct. 4, 1999 at 3:00 PM.
The Zoning map was discussed and Tracy pointed out several errors and several
changes.
There was discussion on the storm water drainage study that was done by Craven Hill.
