PRESENT; MR. THOMPSON, MRS. KILKELLY, MR. SHROYER, MR.
KRULIKOWSKI AND MR. GOLDSTEIN
ABSENT; MRS. DAMP, MR. FIRTION, MR. FULLERTON AND MR. FISCHER
ALL EXCUSED
ALSO PRESENT; LINDA KINCHEN, SECRETARY, AND CATHERINE

ANNOUNCEMENTS; SECRETARY ADVISES THAT VINTAGE POTTERY WANTS
TO BE RESCHEDULED TO FIRST MEETING IN NOVEMBER AND OLD
BUSINESS- TREE ORDINANCE CHANGES NEED TO BE ADDED FOR CITY

A MOTION TO APPROVE THE HOME OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE FOR DOROTHY
BURTON 160 CRAWFORD DRIVE WAS MADE BY MR. GOLDSTEIN SECOND
MR. SHROYER PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
H.O.L. VINTAGE POTTERY HAS BEEN POSTPONED TILL NOVEMBER.
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - OWEN WITEK AND LINDA HEARD -
LINDOWEN°S ANTIQUES OWEN WITEK ANSWERS QUESTIONS STATES NO
OUTSIDE STORAGE BUT ASKS IF THINGS LIKE ROCKING CHAIRS COULD
BE PUT ON THE PORCH BRUCE STATES HE SEES NO PROBLEM WITH
THAT. MR. WITEK STATES HE WOULD LIKE TO PUT UP A HISTORICAL
PLAQUE OUT FRONT AND PLAN TO REPAINT THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE

A MOTION TO APPROVE THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR LiNDOWEN°S
WAS MADE BY MR. THOMPSON SECOND MRS. KILKELLY PASSED
UNANIMOUSLY.
CHAIRMANS MATTERS: 3 MINOR MODIFICATIONS WERE SIGNED OFF
SINCE THE LAST MEETING ONE FOR A SLAB AND CARPORT AT KARR°S
FOR THE SEAFOOD COND USE PERMIT ISSUED AT THE LAST MEETING,
ONE FOR JERRY SMITH TILE FOR INSTALLATION OF A SHED AND ONE
FOR ST SEBASTIAN CHURCH FOR INSTALLATION OF A SHED
BRUCE COOPER STATES OWNER OF KARRS WILL BE DOING CLEAN UP AND
PAINTING AND LANDSCAPING TO MAKE THE PLACE MORE COMPATIBLE
WITH SURROUNDING PROPERTIES.
MEMBERS MATTERS: MR. THOMPSON SPEAKS ON HIS PROCEDURE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING STATES WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS IN NOVEMBER BRUCE
CONCURS WITH THE EXAMPLE AND STATES THAT STAFF HAS NO
OBJECTIONS.
SHIRLEY ASKS IF CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY HAS BEEN ISSUED TO
LEARNING NEST BRUCE STATES YES
SHIRLEY READS NEWSPAPER ARTICLE CALLED KILLER CODES SUBMITTED
BY ED GILCHER.

MR. SHROYER ASKS BRUCE RE COLLAPSING OF ROOFS IN DADE COUNTY
DUE TO WAFER BOARD AND WILL WE BE MAKING ANY RECOMMENDATIONS
FOR CHANGES TO PROHIBIT WAFER BOARD - BRUCE STATES FEELS IT
IS NOT THE BOARD BUT THE WAY IT IS FASTENED BRUCE HAS
CONCERNS ABOUT WAFER BOARD AND WILL DISCUSS FURTHER AT THE
CONFERENCE AT THE END OF THE MONTH.
BUILDING OFFICIAL MATTERS: FINAL STAGES OF SIGN ORDINANCE ARE
BEING PREPARED AND WILL BE GIVEN TO THE COMMISSION FOR REVIEW
AFTER THE TREE ORDINANCE IS FINALIZED. ALSO REMINDS THE
COMMISSION THAT THERE IS A SPECIAL MEETING NEXT WEEK ON THE
TREE ORDINANCE AT 7:00 P.M.
