CHAIRMAN OPENED THE MEETING AT 7:00 P.M.
PRESENT: MR. BARNES, MR. SHROYER, MR. THOMPSON, MR. FALKE, MR.
MUNSART, MR. SCHULKE, MR. FISCHER, MR. FIRTION, MR. GOLDSTEiN
ABSENT: NONE
ALSO PRESENT: LINDA KINCHEN, BRUCE COOPER
ANNOUNCEMENTS: NONE
APPROVE MINUTES: OCTOBER 21, 1993 - MR. BARNES QUESTIONS WHETHER
HE STATED "JUNK MEANS ANY UNREGISTERED AUTO" AS WRITTEN IN THE
MINUTES AND ASKS FOR A CLARIFICATION. A MOTION TO APPROVE THE
MINUTES WITH POSSIBLE CORRECTIONS WAS MADE BY MR. BARNES SECOND
MR. FALKE PASSED UNANIMOUSLY. "ARTICLE 30NJUNKWAS MARKED UP TO
INCLUDE JUNK MEANS ANY UNREGISTERED OR UNINSURED VEHICLES." CAN
GIVE TO LINDA IF ANY OF THE MEMBERS WANT TO LOOK AT MY NOTES. BUT
ALL IT MEANS BASICALLY IS "JUNK MEANS ANY UNREGISTERED CAR" TO
GIVE THE CODE ENFORCEMENT PEOPLE THE ABILITY TO HAVE PROPERTY
OWNERS REMOVE OR BE FORCED TO REMOVE UNREGISTERED VEHICLES.

A MOTION TO APPROVE THE HOME OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE FOR ANDERSON
LAWN MOWING AT 667 BAY HARBOUR TERRACE BY MR. FISCHER SECOND MR.
FALKE PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
MODEL HOME PERMIT VERSA DEVELOPMENT 1373 BARBER STREET GUIDO

STAFF HAS NO OBJECTIONS

A MOTION TO APPROVE THE MODEL HOME PERMIT FOR VERSA DEVELOPMENT
WAS MADE By MR. GOLDSTEIN SECOND MR. BARNES PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
SITE PLAN - SKYDIVE SEBASTIAN MOSBY AND ASSOCIATES IS PRESENT FOR
QUESTIONS CLAY PRICE IS ALSO PRESENT AND STATES THE SITE PLAN
APPLICANT IS HIMSELF AND NOT SKYDIVE SEBASTIAN
MR. GOLDSTEIN STATES THERE IS AN ERROR REGARDING THE IMPERVIOUS
SQ FT WITH A 200 SF DIFFERENCE RANDY STATES IS DUE TO THE
HANDICAP PAD WHICH HAD TO BE ADDED.
THERE IS SOME DISCUSSION REGARDING THE AREA WHERE FOLDING TAKES
PLACE AND THE LOOK OF THE BUILDING. BRUCE INDICATES THAT THE
ZONING NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED BUT IT WILL NOT HOLD UP THERE
CONSTRUCTION AT THIS TIME. BRUCE ALSO STATES THAT THE SCRUB JAY
iSSUE NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED AND FINALIZED BEFORE BUILDING PERMITS
WILL BE ISSUED.
A MOTION TO APPROVE THE SITE PLAN FOR CLAY PRICE WAS MADE BY MR.
GOLDSTEIN SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. RECEIPT BY BRUCE OF FISH AND WILDLIFE APPROVAL
2, RESOLUTION OF THE ZONING CHANGE PROBLEM
3. SUBJECT TO ALL REQUIREMENTS STATED IN THE TRC DATED 11-9-93.
SECOND BY MR. FISCHER FOR DISCUSSION
MR. FISCHER QUESTIONS FISH AND WILDLIFE REQUIREMENT SINCE
APPLICANT STATED HE ALREADY HAD A LETTER - BRUCE STATES WANTS

ELECTION OF THE VICE CHAIRMAN - NOMINATIONS ARE OPENED FOR VICE
CHAIRMAN POSITION.
CARL FISCHER NOMINATES ARTHUR FIRTION
MR. THOMPSON NOMINATES HOWARD GOLDSTEIN - MR. GOLDSTEIN DECLINES
NOMINATIONS ARE CLOSED - MR. FIRTION IS ELECTED VICE CHAIRMAN OF
PLANNING AND ZONING.
LDC 20A5.16.1 - HEAVY TRUCKS - BRUCE EXPLAINS WHY HE WANTS TO
REVISE THiS ORDINANCE
MRS. KiLKELLY IS RECOGNIZED FROM THE AUDIENCE AND STATES ANY
VEHICLE WHICH EXCEEDS ONE TON CAPACITY.
UNDER DISCUSSION THE COMMISSION ADDS TWO TRUCKS UNDER THE HEAVY
EQUIPMENT SECTION OF THE CODE.
BRUCE TO REVISE THE ORDINANCE AND BRING BACK FOR APPROVAL.
CHAIRMANS MATTERS: NONE
MEMBERS: MR. BARNES ASKS ABOUT THE JUNK VEHICLE ORDINANCE BRUCE
STATES IT IS ON THE CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP AGENDA.
MR. MUNSART ASKS WHEN THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT LIST WILL BE DONE.
STATES SHOULD DISCUSS AT THE DECEMBER 2, 1993 MEETING.
MR. SCHULKE ANNOUNCES HE WiLL BE OUT OF THE COUNTRY FOR THE
SECOND MEETING IN DECEMBER AND THE FIRST MEETiNG IN JANUARY.
BUILDING OFFICIAL MATTERS: WALMART TRC WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK
UP ON TUESDAY TO ALLOW TIME TO REVIEW BEFORE THE SPECIAL MEETING.
BRUCE GIVES HOWARD GOLDSTEIN A COPY OF ANEW LETTER SENT TO HRS
REGARDING CHILD CARE LICENSING.
