Acting Chairman Kelly Mather called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. Mather noted the members who have excused absences. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: None OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: A. ACCESSORY STRUCTURE REVIEW - Quasi judicial hearing - Section $4-2-7.5.C,7-942 Chelsea Avenue - Steve DiTrapano - 14'X 24' Shed Mr. Steve DiTrapano, 942 Chelsea Avenue, Sebastian, FL was present, and, along with Tracy Hass, was sworn in by Acting Chmn. Mather at 7:02 pm. Mr. DiTrapano gave a presentation. Tracy Hass gave staff presentation which recommended approval. MOTION by VeslalCarbano I make a motion that we approve the accessory structure for Stephen and Karen DiTrapano at 942 Chelsea Avenue. Motion carried. B. SITE PLAN REVIEW - Quasi-judicial Hearing - Zaidi Medical Office Building - U.S.Highway #1 - Commercial Riverfront (CR) zoning Mr. Tahir H. Qizilbash, 103 Barbara Court, Sebastian, FL, project engineer, was present representing the owner, and was sworn in by Acting Chmn. Mather at 7:05 pm. He gave a brief presentation. Tracy Hass gave staff presentation noting that the County is requiring this site to hook up to County water, but not to County sewer. He noted that this will require a developer's agreement and hook-up will take place when County water is available. He also commented that the City Engineer recommends an acceleration/deceleration lane, but FDOT does not require it, and FDOT is the final authority. Ms. Carbano pointed out an error on page three on the floor plan. There was discussion on the landscape plan, the number of trees required and tree credits for this site. It was determined that the number of trees required as stated in the staff report is correct, and the number of trees provided on the site plan will be corrected. MOTION by Barrett/Vesia I'll recommend that we approve the Zaidi Medical Office building on U.S. Hwy. #1 in accordance to the staff recommendations, in accordance with submitted plans S-1 and 2, A1 and A2. Mather wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. MEMBER~ ~MATTERS: Ms. Carbano inquired about ^meron's construction trailer on Easy Street. Mr. Barrett inquired about the traffic signal proposed for the fire station on Barber Street. There was some discussion on this issue. 2
