Sea Turtlesand Smalltooth Sawfish: For many activities, potential adverse impacts to sea turtles can be reduced and/or eliminated through adherence to the construction conditions found in the joint Corps/National Marine Fisheries Service's“Sea Turtle and Smalltooth Sawfish Construction Conditions–Revised March 23,2006." 6.Turbiditycontrols: a.Shallbeusedthroughoutconstructiontocontrolerosion andsiltationand ensure thatturbiditylevelswithintheprojectareadonotexceedbackground conditions. b.Shallbe madeofmaterialinwhichlistedspeciescannotbecomeentangled (i.e.,reinforcedimpermeable polycarbonate vinylfabric \[PVC\]),and shallbe monitored toensurelistedspeciesarenotentangledortrappedin theproject area. c.Shallberemovedpromptlywhentheworkiscomplete andthewater quality intheprojectarea hasreturnedtobackgroundconditions. 7.Regulatory Agency Changes:Should thePermitteepropose oranyother regulatoryagencyrequirechangestotheworkauthorizedorobligatedbythispermit, thePermitteeisadvisedthatamodificationto thispermitinstrumentisrequiredprior to 2 initiation ofthose changes.Itisthe Permittee’sresponsibilitytorequestamodification ofthispermitfromthe CocoaPermitsSection. 8.
