City of Sebastian Fishing Pier CPM Schedule.pdf
Joe,
Here is the construction schedule from Brothers for the Rebuild Piers with a start date of Monday 7/10 at the Yacht Club
Pier. Ben stop by this morning 6/22 to pay the Building Permits and to inspect the Fisherman's Landing Stand Pipe. He
agrees with Wayne comment in that this should not be a big deal and that they can hopefully un -connect and then
reconnect to the new pier. I will forward this schedule to FEMA.

Frank, Please find attached the project schedule for the project. Also please keep in mind the following conditions that
were implemented within the schedule:
1. We will start construction on the Yacht Club piers first then moving to the north, starting Main St. ,then
starting Fisherman's Landing and lastly starting Crab E Bill's. As per your request.
2. Constructing 100 % of Main St. pier not 75%
3. Notice to proceed issued on June 8, 2017 so we could release concrete piles for fabrication (not for starting
construction as ALOE permits and engineering not completed).
4. Procurement of materials (concrete piles), and Buy America materials.
5. ACOE permitting.(Permits received 6-15-17)
6. Engineering and design for all piers.(completed 6-15-17)
7. Start date moved to 7-10-17 due to concrete pile fabrication constraints and the effect on the July 4, 2017
holiday.
8. Building Permits will be picked up today.
Please review the schedule and if you have any comments please share them with us.
Best Regards

FW: 4283 -DR-FL Matthew Applications
Joe,
See email below from FEMA, HMGP. Looks like our Cat G Rebuild Piers has been submitted to FEMA for funding since
we receive this email. However, more stuff (RFI) will be needed from the City on the application since we have not
done the engineering items of feasibility, cost-effectiveness and benefit cost analysis. On the environmental, we have
ERP permits, so we should be good. The engineering info. is the same items I prepared for the "Stonecrop Drainage'
HMGP application. I will contact Velma and see what Is needed.

• Less mixing water can be used per yard (meter) of concrete and placeability Is Improved
• Minimizes bleeding and segregation of the concrete
APA -92S is an aqueous solution compound of organic chemicals. It is compatible with concrete mixes containing
other commonly used Euclid Chemical Company admixtures.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
EUCON WR should be added to the sand or water, and it should not come in contact with dry cement or other
admixtures until they are mixed with the concrete batch. EUCON WR Is dispensed with automatic equipment,
thus insuring uniformity of admixture use throughout ajob.
The typical dosage rate for EUCON WR is 2.10 oz/100 lb (130.650 mU100 kg). Dosage recommendations
depend on the characteristics of the materials being used In the mix design. Under laboratory conditions,
8 oz/100 lb (520 mill 00 kg) of cement met ASTM C 494, Type D requirements.
EUCON WR is compatible with other admixtures, I.e. accelerators and air entraining agents; however, each
admixture should be added to the mix separately. When using EUCON WR with an air entraining agent, the
dosage rate of the air entraining agent should be reduced. EUCON WR may react with the air entraining agent
increasing its air producing efficiency.
L.14.6Lu.A&9 A..iLivaA&i i
• Care should be taken to maintain EUCON WR above freezing; however, freezing and subsequent thawing
will not harm the material if thoroughly agitated.
• Add to mix independent of other admixtures.
• In all cases, consult the Material Safety Data Sheet before use.

PLASTOL 62ooEXT high -range water -reducing admixture Is formulated using advanced polycarboxylate
technology, specifically engineered for concrete to provide extended workability retention minimizing the need
for jobsite slump adjustments while maintaining consistent air contents from batching to placing of concrete.
In addition, Plastol 6200EXT maintains the typical benefits of polycarboxylate technology of high compressive
strengths, flexural strength, and excellent setting characteristics. Plastol 6200EXT can be used to reduce the
total cement content and used with supplementary cementitlous materials. Plastol 6200EXT does not contain
added chlorides or chemicals known to promote the corrosion of steel.

Plaztol 6200EXT admixture Currently meets the requirements of ASTM C494/C494M and AASHTO
M-194 as a Type A & F admixture,
a a a
Plastol 6200EXT can be added to the initial batch water or directly on the freshly batched concrete and mixed
for approximately 5 minutes or 70 revolutions. However, better results have been observed batching directly
on the freshly batched concrete. It should not come Into contact with dry cement or other admixtures until
mixed thoroughly with the concrete batch.
Standard Dosage: The recommended dosage rate for Plastol 6200EXT is 3.12 oz/l00lbs (195 to 780 mIJ100
kg) of total cementitfous materials.
Extended Slump Retention: Plastol 6200EXT has been specifically designed to provide extended workability
for applications where 60-90 minutes of retention is necessary. For these applications dose the Plastol
6200EXT at 5 to 12 fluid oz/100 lbs of cementitious (390 to 650 mL/kg).
For any concrete application including Self -Consolidating Concrete (SCC), the dosage of Plastol 6200EXT will
vary depending on the mix design, local materials, and individual needs of the concrete producer. Trial mixes
should be run to verify plastic and hardened performance with local materials. If the material gradations are
not optimum for SCC, a viscosity modifier may be used to Improve the quality of the mix. Please consult a
local
Euclid Chemical Sales Professional for Vial mixtures and dosage recommendations.
Admixture Compatibility: Plastol 6200EXT is compatible with most admixtures Including air -entraining agents,
accelerators, most water -reducers, retarders, shrinkage reducers, corrosion Inhibitors, viscosity modifiers, and
microsllica; however, each material should be added to the concrete separately. Please contact a Euclid Sales
Professional for any compatibility Issues.
• Care should be taken to maintain Plastol 6200EXT above freezing; however, freezing and subsequent
thawing will not harm the material if thoroughly agitated.
• Do not agitate with air.
• Add to concrete mix independent of other admixtures.
• In all cases, consult the Material Safety Data Sheet before use.
