Scope of Services
Park Identification Signage Master Plan Update
Sebastian, Florida
Dear Mr. Benton:
Thank you for the opportunity to provide you with this proposal for a Parks
Identification Plan for your City parks. Work will be performed in accordance
with our Continuing Professional Planning and Landscape Architecture
Consulting Services contract dated January 25, 2018.
Project Understanding
GAI/Community Solutions Group, Inc (CSG) understands the City of Sebastian
(Client) wishes to have an inventory of entrance and park identification signs in
existing parks. CSG will modify 3 types of different signs developed under a
separately contracted project for use in parks: entrance sign with marquee,
entrance sign without marquee, and acknowledgement sign, as well as a program
for the cost and order that the signs will be replaced will also be provided.
Support services will include creation of a usable Static Quick Response Code
(Static OR Code) to direct to the City's website or other link as desired, as well as
a digital version of the existing "Pelican Paths" map.
Scope of Services
Based on our understanding of the project requirements/criteria provided to date
by City of Sebastian, CSG will perform the following described Scope of Services:
Task 1 -Inventory
1.1 CSG will have a luck off meeting for the project with the client the same
day as the inventory.
1.2 CSG will conduct an inventory of existing entrance, Identification, and

database.
TASK 1 Deliverable.. GIS Database and photo inventory of current signage.
Task 2 — Park Signage
2.1 Upon completion of Task,1 and finalization of the separately contracted
Working Waterfront signs, CSG will utilize the designs created for the
Working Waterfront, restudy the signs colors for use in parks, and add an
option with a marquee for the entrance sign. Content of the
acknowledgment sign or marquee are not included. CSG will facilitate a
call with the City to review the addition to the option for an entrance sign
with the marquee and make one set of changes before moving to
subtask 2.2.
2.2 CSG will prepare a bid ready document for the marquee addition to the
entrance sign that will give enough information to a fabricator to create
construction documents. Attachment methods, sign structure, etc is the
responsibility of the fabricator.
2.3 CSG will provide conceptual cost estimates for each sign type, including
an implementation plan. The implementation will plan for sign
replacement scheduling based on the existing signage condition and
needs identified in Task 1. The City will provide CSG with budget
information for CI phasing purposes.
TASK 2 Deliverables: PDF of conceptual design, schematic designs, bid ready
document, cost estimate and implementation plan.
Task 3 — Park Graphic and QR Code
3.1 CSG will update and digitize the existing "Pelican Paths' map currently in
use. A PDF will be provided for review and comment. CSG will provide
one set of revisions prior to finalizing the map. When updating the map,
CSG will consider screen formats to make the map phone compatible.
3.2 CSG will generate a Static CIR Code that links to the City website for use
as necessary.
TASK 3 Deliverables: PDF and native Adobe -based design document of map,
appropriate digital file for Static CIR Code.
Schedule
CSG will begin work upon receipt of a copy of this Proposal executed and
authorized below. We will provide a project schedule with milestone dates upon
notice to proceed. If notice to proceed is given by May 1, 2019, project will be
complete by September 1, 2019, assuming the separately contracted signs for the
working waterfront are finalized and ready to use for Task 2 of this project by
June 1. 2019.

Compensation
Compensation for services rendered by GAI will be in accordance with the rates
agreed to and incorporated into the Agreement between GAI and the Client. The
total estimated cost of GAI's services under this Proposal is $22,9%

Payment
All payment terms will be in accordance with the Continuing Professional
Planning and Landscape Architecture Consulting Services contract dated
January 25, 2018.
Services Not Included
The proposed scope of services and costs) assume the following items are
excluded from this scope of services:
• Construction plans
• Structural engineering plans
• Anything not specifically included in the scope of services
Assumptions and Understandings
GAI's Scope of Services, Schedule and Compensation as set forth above have
been prepared on the basis of the following assumptions and understandings:
1. Client acknowledges and understands that Community Solutions Group
is a GAI Consultants, Inc. Services Group. Any reference to Community
Solutions Group or CSG in the Proposal for Professional Services and the
Standard Terms and Conditions also refers to GAI Consultants, Inc. It is
further acknowledged and understood that this agreement is between
the CLIENT and GAI Consultants, Inc.
2. Access to the project site(s) or other land upon which GAI is to conduct
any field work will be available to GAI personnel in a timely manner.
3. Client has provided all its requirements for GAI's scope of services and all
criteria and/or specifications that GAI should utilize at the time this
Proposal is authorized. This includes any requirement for any statement
of professional opinion or certification.

4. Client has provided all available information pertinent to GAI's scope of
services, including previous reports/drawings: utility information; topic,
information, etc. at the time this Proposal is authorized. Unless otherwise
noted, GAI may rely upon such information.
5. Client will give GAI prompt notice whenever it observes or otherwise
becomes aware of any development that affects the scope or timing of
GAI's performance.
6 Client will examine and provide comments and/or decisions with respect
to any GAI interim or final deliverables within a period mutually agreed
upon.
7. Any of Client's other consultant(s)/contractor(s) will cooperate and
coordinate with GAI in a timely and efficient manner.
8. GAI's proposed compensation and schedule are based on receipt of
authorization to proceed within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of
this Proposal. GAI reserves the right to adjust its compensation if
authorization to proceed is not received within thirty (30) calendar days.

authorization for GAI to proceed. GAI's performance of the Scope of Services will
