WHERE A CONNECTION IS TO BE MADE IN THE FIELD TO AN EXISTING CONDUIT, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL EXCAVATE THE AREA TO VERIFY THE TYPE OF CONDUIT, CONDUIT SIZE, AND REQUIRED CONNECTION AND FITTINGS AND OBTAIN THE OWNERS APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED METHOD OF CONNECTION PRIOR TO INSTALLING MATERIALS. 11. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE AND VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS OF ALL EXISTING AND PROPOSED FACILITIES PRIOR TO FABRICATION OF PIPING AND EQUIPMENT TO ENSURE PROPER ASSEMBLY OF ALL ITEMS.
