WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM:
THE PROPOSED WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WILL CONSIST OF A 12" EXTENSION OFF-SITE TO AN
EXISTING 16" WATERMAIN LOCATED WEST OF THE SUBJECT PROPERTY AND NORTH OF FLEMING STREET.
THE PROPOSED 12" WATERMAIN WILL BE EXTENDED INTO THE SUBJECT PROPERTY ALONG FLEMING
STREET, TO THE EAST BORDER OF THE PROPERTY. A NETWORK OF LOOPED 8" AND 6" WATEMAINS WILL
BE CONSTRUCTED WITHIN THE PROPOSED ROADWAY SYSTEM OF THE DEVELOPMENT, THAT IS ADEQUATE
TO MEET THE POTABLE AND FIRE PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH BY THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN
AND THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY UTILITIES DEPARTMENT.
SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM:
THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM FOR THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT WILL CONSIST OF A SERIES OF SEWER
MANHOLES AND PIPING WHICH WILL CONVEY SEWAGE EITHER TO AN ON-SITE SANITARY SEWER LIFT
STATION, OR TO AN EXISTING GRAVITY SEWER SYSTEM LOCATED WITHIN LAUREL RESERVE. PHASE 2 OF
THE DEVELOPMENT WILL EITHER EXTEND SANITARY SEWER OR CONNECT TO THE PHASE 1 SYSTEM, OR IT
WILL BE SERVICED BY AN OFF-SITE EXTENSION OF A GRAVITY SEWER LINE TO THE EAST DOWN ENGLAR
DRIVE. THE ENGINEER OF RECORD IS CURRENTLY WORKING WITH THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY UTILITIES
DEPARTMENT TO ASCERTAIN THE MOST VIABLE OPTION FOR PROVIDING SANITARY SEWER SERVICE TO THIS
PROJECT.
