A RESOLUTION ABANDONING ANY CLAIM TO THE LOT DESIGNATED AS "PARK AND PLAY-
GpoUlVD", AS APPEARS ON RESUBDIVISZON OF BLOCK 1, EDGEFIATER PARK, #1,
INCLUDING THE WESTERLY 50 FEET.
WHEREAS, the City of Sebastian previously approved the plat of
the rwsubdivision of Edgewater Park K1; and
WHEREAS, on said plat appeared a lot designated as "Park and
Playground"; and
WHEREAS, said Park and Playground has never been accepted by the
City of Sebastian as a public park, but is and has remained private property
and
WHEREAS, said "Park and Playground" has not been declared as tax
exempt property, but has been assessed and taxed as private property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Sebastian, Florida, as follows:
That the City of Sebastian hereby abandons any claim it has, or
may previously have acquired in and to the following eiascribed property:
Lot designated "Park and Playground", Block 1, Resubdivision
of Edgewater Park /I, including the westerly 50 feet thereof,
as recorded in the public records of Indian River County in
Plat Book 2, page 40; said land lying and being in the City
of .Sebastian, Indian River County, Florida.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said property shall be tre te:' '- all
respects as privately held property, and shall resain and be subject:to all
laws, ordinances and regulations pertaining to privately owned property
situated within the corporate Iimits of the City Of Sebastian.
All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith or
Inconsistent with the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect tuaaediately upon
Its passage.

westerly 50 feet.
Gentlemen:
I respectfully request that the above captioned parcel at rear of Lot
1 which has been designated as "Park and Playground" and is zoned R-2
be changed to allow duplexes to be built on that certain parcel and
including Lots l,'2 and 3. Block 19 Edgewater Park #1.
A prospective buyer has suggested interest in this type development
and your early consideration and approval of this request will be
greatly appreciated.
