Additionally, I would like to discuss with the City Council, the Council's intent for Wauregan Avenue. I am sending a copy of this letter to the City Attorney. The purchaser has requested that the seller obtain an abandonment of both roadways shown in red and blue on the map enclosed. A highest priority is the roadway between Lots 53 and 54. I understand that the City would like to formulate a policy as to Wauregan Avenue, and my clients would be happy to discuss the City's plan on that item. Tie do request that you authorize us to proceed with adver- tising as to the abandonment of the roadway between Lots 53 and 54 as soon as possible. As you can see, the requested abandon- ment would not adversely affect any other property owners. HE EXPLAINED THAT IT IS NOW THEIR REQUEST TO INSTALL A 24 " PIPE AT THE SAME LOCATION AND PAY THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO DIFFERENT SIZE PIPES. EARL MASTELLER, RECOPM9ENDED THAT THE SIDE YARD NOT BE PIPED, SINCE IT WOULD BE SETTING A PRECEDENCE AND THAT IT WOULD NOT PROVIDE ANY GROUND WATER RECHARGE.
