Traffic control signs shall comply with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways (US DOT) and with the F.DOT Roadway and Traffic Designs Standards, Index No. 11860. 6. Stripes shall comply with F.DOT Roadway and Traffic Design Standards, Index 17346. 7. The Co,itractor shall use appropriate measures to prevent erosion and transport of sedirtjent to surface drains. The Contractor shall use hay bales, silt barriers or other appropriate measures to mitigate adverse impacts to existing surface water quality. Turbidity barriers must remain in place until construction is completed, soils are stabilized, and vegetation has been established. Seed and mulch all areas disturbed by construction; sod areas steeper that 4H:IV. 8. All proposed elevations refer to National Geodetic Vertical Datum, see Project Benchmark on Sheet J. 9. All pipe lengths are approximate and are measured from center of fittings and/or structures. 10. Conflicts between water and storm sewer are to be resolved by adjusting water lines as necessary upon approval by Owner's Engineer. 11.
