Elections Staff ran the vote by mail envelopes through the automatic letter opener and separated out the ballot from the secrecy sleeves and envelopes. The board moved to the tabulation room at 9:30 a.m. The OS850 that was serviced by the vendor on Friday, October 15 was still malfunctioning. Mr. Cruz discontinued the use of the DS850 and Mr. Bias proceeded with the operable DSSO. The following ballots were out -stacked by the D5850 machine and reviewed by the Sebastian Canvassing Board and then duplicated by the Elections Duplicating Team: Precinct & Ballot Pct 7, M7 There was a dot on one of the candidate ovals and referendum ovals Pct 8, M8 No referendum questions were marked and a chunk was torn out of the ballot Pct 8, M8 Pct 8, M8 The two dotted ovals were rejected by the board.
