Dear Mr. Hall:
Attached hereto is a site plan for the above lot which we are
requesting a variance.
Inasmuch as the slab was poured before it was noted that this
home was to be constructed with a garage in leiu of a carport
\ thereby encroaching on the easement by nine (9) inches on the
west side of the house.
The adjoining lot to the west is owned by Mrs. Ralph H. Hughes
and her home is located eighteen feet and four inches (18 ft.
and 4 in.) from the side lot line. I have contacted Mrs. Hughes
and gained her concurrence and approval. Please contact her for
confirmation if you so desire. I am preparing a letter for her
signature in order to document our files accordingly,
On the east side the lot clearance is thirteen feet and one inch
(13 ft. 1 in.) therefore, no problem.
I regret that this was not found until after the slab was poured
as we could have shifted the house easily, however, it is now im-
practical to do so.
